ADSL Usage Statistics
Data consumption includes emails received (including the attachments), web pages downloaded, in fact nearly any form of information received by you. Should your computer / network be configured by you to "stream" or consistently receive any Internet information, your consumption and costs may be very high. OntheNet provides tools for you to monitor your usage, called usage statistics.

When you first signed up for ADSL from OntheNet you were provided a username and password to access your ADSL connection, your email and your statistics.

Stats are indicative only and not an up to the minute representation of usage. Sometimes there are unavoidable delays between stats representation and shaping status in the case of Personal plans and incurred excess fees in the case of Business plans.

Customers should note that graphs demonstrate usage trends only. Utilisation is shown based on an average of usage over a short period. They do not accurately reflect very brief bursts of high utilisation. Example - if the average usage was based on a 5 minute period and your traffic was 0% for 4min 30sec and 100% for 30sec, this would be represented as approximately 10% utilisation on the graph.
